Our Story...LEWIS AIR LLC is an Arizona-based, family-owned and operated Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Contractor with more than three decades of industry experience.
Our father, Benjamin F. Lewis, Sr., A3C USAF-Korea (09/31/1935 - 01/06/2008) started Lewis and Sons Air Conditioning, Inc. in Mesa, Arizona in April of 1982; which continues to operate under the direction of our two brothers, Jeff Lewis and Bud Lewis Jr. We all grew up working in the "family business" with our parents, so it's sort of in our blood. Barbara A. Daniels (formerly Lewis) worked for Lewis and Sons in Finance from 1982 until 1994, when she left the company to pursue nonprofit sector work within Greater Phoenix Leadership, Inc. Barbara retired from GPL after serving 15 years as Director of Operations/CFO in December, 2007 and started The Caffe Publishing Group LLC, a woman-owned, Arizona-based consulting company, which she still owns and operates today. Steven worked for Lewis and Sons Air Conditioning, Inc. as a Service Technician from 1985 until 1999, when he broke off and started Air Con America LLC, earning his CR-39 Contractor's License in both Commercial and Residential Air Conditioning and Refrigeration from the Arizona Registrar of Contractors in 2004. In July of 2018, an agreement was made between Barbara and Steven to reconstitute Air Con America LLC (Steven's former HVAC company, established in 2004), and effectively join forces together to form LEWIS AIR LLC. This new company brings together more than three decades of combined business operations, finance and HVAC industry experience in the metropolitan Phoenix region.
